Bag Fabricator
Under the direction of a Production Manager, the Bag Fabricator is responsible for fabricating hand-made, custom sized bags and pouches using a foot-operated industrial press. Bags are made of flexible packaging materials designed to prevent corrosion, protect from electrostatic discharge, or that have other preservation properties. Duties Include:- Maintain quality control parameters during bag construction to ensure all seams are structurally sound
- Follow instructions on requirements for each order
- Manually apply identifying labels or stickers to bags as needed
- Procure raw materials from inventory
- Fold and stack finished items to prepare for shipping
- Perform general housekeeping functions to maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
- Follow all company policies and procedures as specified in the Employee Handbook
- Have a positive attitude
- Demonstrate good work ethic
- Be able to stand at a workstation throughout the day to perform all duties
- Have good eye-hand coordination
- Bi-lingual is a plus
