MIl-DTL-117 Type IV Class E Style 1 Bags Scrim/Foil Bags
These flat bags are open on one end and can be closed with an industrial heat sealer. They are watervaporproof and greaseproof consisting of a polyethylene/foil/polyethylene laminate with a polycotton-scrim facing. This unique moisture barrier material makes these bags ideal for packaging items for storage or transport to protect from moisture, damaging corrosion, debris, and pests. Many archivists use this material to preserve documents, artifacts and other items that could be damaged by moisture during storage. Certified to MIL-DTL-117 Type IV Class E Style 1 requirements, these bags can be used in US military applications requiring bags bearing this mil spec. All bags bear the red identifying print of the MIL-PRF-131 specification as required to comply with the specification.
