Product Description
Protect PPC Pack 4 is a protective packaging material that combines a highly formulated adhesion wax and a polyester film with a heavy mesh cotton fabric. The wax and polyester film provide barrier properties while the fabric allows ease of handling. It is especially suited for hand wrap applications in the field. This product provides corrosion, abrasion and impact protection. Standard rolls are 36″ x 50 and 100 yards. Other sizes are available upon request.
Applications
Protect PPC Pack 4 protects industrial plant piping where corrosive action is prevalent or where conditions are extremely severe. This includes airlines, sprinkling system piping, cold water pipe, gas pipe and all other metal tubes.
Construction
- Heavy mesh Cotton Fabric core provides high strength and carrier of the protective wax.
 - High adhesion wax assure excellent barrier and is treated with fungicides to help reduce antimicrobial induces corrosion (MIC).
 - Polyester Film increases barrier properties over those without.
 - Optional: VCI (Volatile corrosion inhibitors) provide additional corrosion protection performance.
