Antique Stage Coach Packaged for Cross Country Shipping

We packaged an antique Wells Fargo stagecoach for a trip from Texas to New York. Rust and corrosion weren’t concerns, but dirt, rain, and road debris were.

The coach was too wide to fit in a standard semi-truck trailer, so it had to be sent across country on a flat bed truck.

It was essential that the covering method be flexible enough to leave the wheels exposed, but strong enough to resist any foreign objects that may contribute to damaging the stagecoach. The covering must not add any unnecessary weight to the fragile stagecoach.

A light weight 4 mil shrink wrap film was placed around the entire coach giving it complete protection yet leaving the wheels exposed so that it could be loaded and unloaded from the truck.
