In America today, veteran's have a lot to be proud of an many of them are applying their skills and experience in entrepreneurial endeavors.  More than 2 million businesses in the US are majority owned by veterans. 

According to the National Veteran-Owned Business Association, 18 states have some sort of legislation favorable to veteran-owned businesses or have laws that help create opportunities when it comes to state-government contracting.
