Protective Packaging has received the Silver BPEA for the third year in a row for it's corrosion prevention packaging in the JDAM Weapons System project.

Protective Packaging Corporation today announced that it has received a 2012 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Protective Packaging Corporation maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30, 2012.
This year, Boeing recognized 594 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Protective Packaging Corporation is one of only 441 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.
“This is our third year in a row to receive this distinction, and we are very honored to be recognized by Boeing as a strategic supplier,” stated Protective Packaging CEO, Steve Hanna. “Boeing is a valued customer, and we are proud to provide them with quality products to preserve their equipment.”
Protective Packaging Corporation specializes in corrosion prevention and static shielding packaging for a wide range of storage and shipping needs. The company has been making proprietary ESD moisture barrier bags for Boeing to protect JDAM weapons systems tail kits.
