One of the ways we have simplified the mothballing process is by creating over 40 different custom aircraft kits. These kits are specifically designed for particular aircrafts and include jet engine intake covers, desiccants, jet engine exhaust covers, aircraft tire covers, cockpit and window protection. Simplifying the process doesn't mean reducing product quality. On the contrary, each of our aircraft protection kits either meets or exceeds the military and FAA standards for mothballing an aircraft.
When it comes to jet engine intake and exhaust covers it's imperative to provide maximum moisture protection. Excessive humidity is the primary cause of corrosion and can lead to significant equipment deterioration. To that end, our jet engine intake covers and jet engine exhaust covers use military spec material and meet all FAA standards. We have even included a convenient humidity indicator card within the material so that moisture levels can be easily and constantly monitored. In the case of specific models or aircraft designs not covered by our pre-made aircraft protection kits, we are capable of creating custom protective products.
